1. What Ingot is — and is not. Ingot ("the Service") provides technical/algorithmic trading signals, simulated model performance, and market data visualisation for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument, and nothing constitutes regulated financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Ingot is not a broker, is not authorised or regulated by any financial regulator, and does not hold, manage, or take custody of client funds. You are solely responsible for every trading decision you make.
2. Risk acknowledgment — please read. Trading gold (XAU/USD) and other leveraged products carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. By creating an account you confirm that you understand: (a) you can lose some or all of the money you trade with, and depending on your broker's terms you may lose more than your initial deposit; (b) past performance — real, simulated, or backtested — is not a reliable indicator of future results; (c) markets can move suddenly and signals may be delayed, wrong, or unavailable; and (d) you enter every trade entirely at your own risk and on your own decision. If you are unsure whether trading is right for you, seek independent financial advice before trading.
3. Simulated and backtested performance. All performance figures shown in the Service are derived from simulated demo balances and historical backtesting, not from real trading. Backtested results have inherent limitations: they are produced with the benefit of hindsight, may not account for all real-world costs (slippage, execution delay, changing spreads, liquidity), and do not represent actual money at risk. Real results will differ, potentially materially and negatively.
4. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement and that using the Service is lawful where you live.
5. Your account, your control. Any connection to a third-party broker account is between you and that broker, under that broker's own terms. You remain in control of and responsible for your own funds, trades, and broker relationship at all times. Ingot never has access to withdraw or transfer your money.
6. Risk settings are your choice. Risk percentages, kill-switch thresholds, and which models are enabled are configurable by you. Higher risk settings increase both the chance and the size of losses. Default reference settings are provided, but any configuration you run — default or customised — is your own decision.
7. Payments. Paid features are unlocked with a one-time payment processed by a third-party payment provider; Ingot does not store your card details. Promotional or comp codes are single-use and non-transferable. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once the paid features have been made available to your account.
8. Service availability. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and the Service may be unavailable, delayed, or degraded due to maintenance, outages, third-party data-provider failures, or other causes. Signals that would have occurred during downtime are not recovered or compensated.
9. Data sources. Market prices, candles, and derived indicators are sourced from third-party data providers and are believed reliable but are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or timely. Always confirm prices with your own broker before acting.
10. No liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ingot and its operator accept no liability whatsoever for any trading losses, lost profits, technical outages, missed or delayed signals, data inaccuracies, or broker-side issues arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Account security. You are responsible for keeping your password and any connected broker credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Password recovery relies on your security question — there is no email-based reset, so keep your answer safe.
12. Your data. We store the minimum needed to run your account: your email address, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), your settings, and your trade log. We do not sell your data. You may request deletion of your account and its data at any time.
13. Acceptable use. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts, scrape or resell the Service's signals or data, reverse-engineer the models, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. Accounts breaching these terms may be suspended or terminated.
14. Intellectual property. The Service — including its models, code, design, and content — is the property of its operator. Your account grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it; it does not transfer any ownership.
15. Changes to the Service and these terms. The Service (including its models and their parameters) evolves over time and features may be added, changed, or removed. These terms may be updated; the version date below identifies the edition you accepted, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be flagged in the dashboard.
16. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
